Wood. Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Dicken Wood, 88, of 39 Linden Ave., will be at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. Jame B. Foster will officiate, with burial in Green-Baird Cemetery, Dawes Arboretum. Mrs. Wood died Saturday afternoon in her home. She was born Dec. 29, 1880 in Licking Twp. to George Dillon and Roena Green Dicken. She had spent her entire life in Licking County and was a member of White Chapel United Methodist Church, and a "Rock of Ages" member of the Frances Willard Chapter WCTU. She had taught Sunday School for 35 years at the First United Methodist Church. A 1902 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan College, she had taught school at Summit Station and in the Newark school system for 10 years. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. R. E. Agin, and a nephew, Paul Dicken Myers, both of Newark. Her husband, the Rev. Thomas E. Wood, died in 1950. One sister is also dead. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. today in the funeral home.
