the newark advocate and tribune newspaper
Retired Baltimore& Ohio Railroad employee died at 5:30 p.m. in his home 24 
north hazelwood ave.   He started work with the company in Zanesvilles a 
carpenter helper and came to Newark in 1905.  Surviving widow Beva Grandstaff. 
MaryGrandstaff daughter, two sisters Mrs charles townsendand Mrs. Effie 
Gordon.  he is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetary.   He was a native of Morgan 
County, born 1875.
