The Newark Advocate, Friday, August 29, 1969, Page 13, Deaths And Funerals, Edward D. Myers.
     Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Ross Henderson Funeral Home 
for Edward D. Myers, 50, of Rt. 5. Burial will be in Dawes Family Cemetery.
     Mr. Myers died Thursday evening in University Hospital, Columbus, of a 
self-inflicted bullet wound, according to the sheriff's office.
     He was born July 22 1919 in Newark to John E. and Mary Dicken Myers.
     Mr. Myers was self-employed as an electrician and farmer. He was a member 
of White Chapel Methodist Church.
     Surviving are his father, John E.; wife, the former Jane C. Campbell; one 
son, Larry of Columbus; five daughters: Mrs. Robert Lemon of Pal Beach Gardens, 
Fla., Linda, Connie, Carol and Anne, of the home; one brother, Paul of Newark; 
one sister, Mrs. Margaret Agin of Newark and three grandchildren.
     Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
