Healdsburg (California) Enterprise 7 Nov 1903
Mrs. S. A. Parker, mother of City Marshal A. L. Parker, died at the home of her
son last Friday [30 Oct 1903].  Mrs. Parker was a native of Ohio, and at the
time of her death was 81 years of age.  She leaves four children to mourn her
loss.  The funeral took place Sunday, Rev. J. Martin officiating.

I believe this is Sarah Ann Cooper Parker, born and raised in Licking County,
daughter of Samuel C. Cooper and Caroline Thrall.  Some evidence posted at
http://wc.rootsweb.com/~hendersonscholes.  She appears in the 1900 census of
Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California, in the household of her youngest son
Arthur.  See other obituary for conflicting information on exact date of death.
