Swisher. Mrs. Clara E. Swisher, wife of Wallace D. Swisher, Newark RFD 5, died Wednesday afternoon in the Newark Hospital, where she had been a patient since Jun 9. She had been in ill health the past four years and her condition had been regarded as serious since she enetered the hospital. She was born August 8, 1871 in Hocking County, the daughter of Asias W. and Sarah J. (Baird) Dicken. Mrs. Swisher had been a resident of Licking County for 60 years and was a member of the White Chapel Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she leaves, also, a brother, J. W. Dicken of Granville. Her parents, three brothers, and one sister preceded her in death. The body will remain in the Criss Brothers Funeral Home, where services will be conducted in the chapel at 2:30 p. m. Friday. The Rev. Floyd Gale will officiate, and internment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
