Willey, 59, of Nashport Route 2, a maintenance of way employee of Baltimore and Ohio Railway for 40 years, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday (May 22) at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient since May 5. He had been ill since December. He was born Nov. 22, 1907 in Licking County, a son of Alonzo and Olive Howell Willey. Mr. Willey was a World War II veteran and a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance and Way Lodge 838. He is survived by his widow, the former Nettie R. Offenberger; three brothers, Noble O. Willey, Millard A. Willey and Leonard V. Willey, all of Newark. A son died in infancy and a brother and a sister are deceased. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Frazeysburg Chapel of Baughman and Sons Funeral Homer where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Russell L. Harper of Nashport will officiate. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
