From the “Bellefontaine Republican”, Bellefontaine, Ohio
03 Dec 1869	On the 25th ult. in Cleveland, Ohio, Thomas Armstrong, aged 
about 90. Came to Bellefontaine from Springfield about 1824 and was a merchant; 
also County Treasurer; removed to Cleveland five years previous to his death.
