02 Oct 1868   On September 25th at the residence of her son Mr. J.W. Byers near 
Bellefontaine, Mrs. Mary Byers, wife of James Byers. (See additional data in 
issued of 09 Oct 1868).

09 Oct 1868   On September 25th at the residence of her son Mr. J.W. Byers near 
Bellefontaine, Mrs. Mary Byers, wife of James Byers. She was the eldest child 
of the late Rev. Joseph Stevenson. Born in Washington County, Pa. on Sep. 7, 
1805. Married on Apr. 3, 1823 Came to Logan County in the Spring of 1825. Member
of the Presbyterian Church of West Liberty in the Fall of 1825. Original member 
of the First Presbyterian Church of Bellefontaine.
