From the “Bellefontaine Republican”, Bellefontaine, Ohio
06 Feb 1874     At his residence at West Liberty on Jan 6th, George F. Dunn aged 
83 years 5 months 25 days. Born in 1790 in Bourbon Co., Ky., he came to Logan Co. 
in 1810 and assisted in the organization of the County in Mar 1817. Served in the 
War of 1812 with his brothers and father. His father and two brothers were killed 
in the War. Married to Isabella McIlvane on 17 Nov 1818. She died 09 Dec 1823. 

Married 2nd to Rebecca Moore on 31 Jul 1826. They had eleven children and she 
survived him. Member of the Presbyterian Church.
