Mary E. George
74, a former Springfield resident, currently of 7383 Edison Street, Russells 
Point, Ohio, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in her residence following six 
months of serious illness.  She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on September 8, 
1915, the daughter of Adam and Josephine (Kinnamon) Widdig and had resided in
Russells
Russells Point since 1980.  She was a member of Central Christina Church.  
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Frank S.; one son, Frank L. of 
Placentia, California; one Daughter, Connie Powell of Russells Point; two 
sisters, Millie Gammon and Violet Ockerman, both of Portsmouth; one brother, 
Rev. David Widdig of Chesapeake, Ohio; Six grandchildren; a number of nieces 
and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son, Terry David George.  
Friends may call at the Conroy Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday.  Services 
will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Dr. Joseph Alspay o
officiating.  Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens
