From the “Bellefontaine Republican”, Bellefontaine, Ohio
26 Aug 1868   On August 11th at Bellefontaine, John McLaughlin. Came to Yellow 
Springs, Ohio in 1820 from Alyth, Perthshire, Scotland. Came to Rush Creek Lake 
in 1833 and to Bellefontaine in 1861. Member of the Presbyterian Church. Left 2 
sons and 4 daughters.
