From the "Bellefontaine Gazette and Logan County Advertiser", Bellefontaine, Ohio
07 Apr 1837    On Sunday morning last (2 Apr), Col. James McPherson. One of the
first settlers of this section of the country. He was an Indian Agent and
Associate County Judge.
