From the “Bellefontaine Republican”, Bellefontaine, Ohio
20 Sep 1867   On September 8th, Mr. Robert Patterson. He was born in Ireland, 
January 6, 1788.  Emigrated to America at the age of 18. He married Eliza S. 
Moore of Licking County in 1819. Came to Bellefontaine in 1825. He had served 
as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Bellefontaine.
