From the “Bellefontaine Republican”, Bellefontaine, Ohio
26 May 1871     David Patterson, at the age of 75 years 11 days. Born in Mifflin 
Co., Pa. and married to Ellen McCracken on 27 Oct 1818; removed to Muskingum Co.
in Nov 1818 and to Bellefontaine in the spring of 1834. Member of the Presbyterian
Church.
