He had been ill for the past four years and bedfast for five weeks. Born on Aug. 1, 1884, in Monroe township, he was the son of Joseph and Anna Hatcher Stanley. He had been a farmer all of his life. On Dec. 6, 1911, he married Ida Page who survives with two daughters, Mrs. John (Jane) Mitchell, West Liberty and Mrs. J. R. (Marjory) McMahill, Cincinnati; four sons, Joe, at home; Herbert, West Liberty; Eugene, Akron; and Philip, R. F. D. 1, Zanesfield, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:30 pm in the Eichholtz funeral home by Rev. James Park, Zanesfield. Burial will be in Huntsville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm today.
