Mr. Willoby had been in ill health since his retirement 12 years ago, and had been bedfast for the past six weeks. He was born Sept. 24, 1875, in Washington township, a son of Andrew and Mary Porter Willoby. On Dec. 1, 1900, he married Bessie M. Page, who survives, with three sons: Merrill C. and Horace P. Willoby both of Piqua, and Lloyd B., and three daughters, Mrs. William (Louise G.) Sloop of Richwood,, Mrs. Carl D. (Helen) Kennedy and Mrs. Henry (Ethel) Dysert, both of Huntsville. Surviving also are 11 grandchildren, a half-brother, Roy, and a half-sister, Mrs. K.G. (Ollie) Carter, both of Huntsville, and a step-sister, Mrs. Harry Shough, Belle Center. Two brothers and one sister are deceased. Mr. Willoby attended the United Presbyterian church in Huntsville, and had formerly been a member of the K. of P. lodge. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm at the Van Horn funeral home in Lakeview, with Rev. J.H.T. Gordon officiating. Burial will be made in Huntsville cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Saturday afternoon.
