A native of Yugoslavia, Mr. Mezlak lived in Lorain since 1910. He worked as a cement finisher, whose projects included the Garfield Bridge on Rt. 254. He was a member of St. Vitus Church. Surviving are five sons, Stephen A., Theodore, Joseph, Frank and John, all of Lorain; two daughters, Mrs. Paul White of Claremont Calif., and Katherine, at home; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at the John R. Dovin Funeral Home, with Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vitus Church. Friends may call today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8: p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
