Mezlak, 60, of 4123 Elyria Ave., Lorain, an Army Veteran of World War 11, died yesterday in Lorain Community Hospital after an illiness of two weeks. He worked in the seamless mill of the Lorain- Cuyahoga Works for 18 years, retiring in 1964. Born in Lorain, Mr. Mezlak was a lifelong resident and was associated with the blind Bowling League for the Center for The Sightless. He was a member of the Local No. 1104 and the Polish American Citizens Club. Surviving are a son, Randy, Lorain; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Goodman, North Ridgeville, and Mrs. Joseph (Lynn) Gnizak, Lorain; four grandchildren, four brothers, Steve, Frank, John, all of Lorain,and Joe, Sandusky; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Johann) White, Clairmont, Calif., and Mrs. Edward (Kaye) Kay, Lorain. Friends will be received in the John R. Dovin Funeral Home, Lorain, tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and at 10 a.m. in St. Cyril and Methodius Church.
