Mrs. Mezlak was born in Yugoslavia and had lived in Lorain 57 years, coming from New Castle, PA. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and its Altar Society and Croatian Fraternal Union Branch 17. Surviving are her husband, Stephen; six sons, Michael J. of Kelso, Calif, and Stephen A, Frank, John G.,Theodore and Joseph, all of Lorain; two daughters, Mrs. Paul White of Claremont, Calif, and Mrs. William White, Lorain; 15 grandchildren; three great-grand daughters; a sister, Mrs Val Golick, Halsey, Ore. and a brother, Frank Bitoritz of Yugoslavia. Friends will be received in the John R. Dovin Funeral Home this evening, 7 to 10 and tomorrow, 2 to 10 p.m. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Vitus Church. The Rev. Simeon J. Nekic will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. St. Vitus parish will have a rosary service in the funeral home this evening at 8:30. The Altar Society and St. Vitus Lodge of the CF Br. 17 will recite the rosary tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
