Sipe, 64, of Sandusky, died Friday, April 9, 1993, at Providence Hospital, Sandusky, following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 22, 1928 in Youngstown. Sipe served with the U.S. Army durning World War II and the Korean conflict. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Gertude (nee Niemeyer); sisters Jane Bennight of Las Vegas and Mrs. Julius (Rose) Delisio of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Sr. and Lilian (nee Cyrus); and brothers and sisters. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.,. at the David F. Koch Funeral Home, 520 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Pastor Charles J. Nash will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, East Jefferson and Wayne streets, Sandusky, 44870. Additional Comments: I am not related to this individual.
