Rosaria 'Sara' Spurling, 71, Italy native
  MILAN - Rosaria "Sara" Spurling, 71, of Milan, died Friday, April 9, 1993 at 
Firelands Community Hospital, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.
  She was born in Palermo Sicily, Italy, and had lived in Milan since coming 
from Sicily in 1946.
  Mrs. Spurling worked at Clevite Elastomers, Milan, for 34 years, retiring in 
1984.
  She was a member of the Edison Memorial United Methodist Church, milan; and 
the United Methodist Women of the church.
  Survivors include her daughters Roberta "Bobbie" Weber of Milan and Melinda 
April of Seattle, Wash.; son, Victor of Milan; seven grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren; brother, Vito DiGruss of Brucoli, Sicily; and many nieces 
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl N. in 1992; 
parents, Fidele and Nunzia (nee Orso) DiGrusa; and sister, Lina.
  Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rawle-Kubach-
Smith Funeral Home, 1 S. Main St., Milan. Services will be Wednesday at 11 
a.m. in the funeral home; teh Rev. John Butchko, pastor of the Edison Memorial 
United Methodist Church of Milan, officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn 
Memorial Park Hausoleum, Huron.
  Contributions may be made to the Edison Memorial United Methodist Church, 10 
E. Church St., Milan, 44846.
