The Patriot. (Indiana, Pa.) August 15, 1914
Scouts and Master Drown. 
Toledo, O., Aug. 13 - James B. Ecker, aged twenty-six years, boy scoutmaster;
Glenwood Albert, aged seventeen years and John Graves, aged sixteen years, boy
scouts, were drowned in Lake Erie, thirteen miles from Toledo, last night. They were
drowned while rescuing a small boy.
