Delphos Herald, 20 February 1940
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Daub, who died at her home in Toledo at 12:20 p.m. 
Monday, will be held at St. John's Catholic church in this city at 10:15 a.m. 
Thursday. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Daub formerly resided 
in this city. Her husband, Christopher [Christian] Daub, died a number of years 
ago. He was a brother of the late Mrs. John Walsh, East Second street. 
Surviving Mrs. Daub, who was past eighty years of age, is an adopted daughter, 
Mrs. Lulu Braton, Toledo; a sister, Miss Kate Birkmeyer, with whom she resided; 
a step-sister, Mrs. Louis Metzger, West Second Street; and two step-brothers, 
Peter Hemker, Landeck, and Matt. Hemker, West Second Street. The remains will 
be removed from Toledo to the Jauman-Kolkmeyer funeral home Wednesday morning. 
They will be at the funeral home until the time of services.
