"Edmund Zeiler

Former Vice President of Kerscher Elevator Company

Edmund C. Zeiler, 76 of 920 Custer Drive, former Vice President of the 
Kerscher Elevator Company, died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital.

Mr. Zeiler started as a mechanic for the firm in 1910, and became a part 
owner, along with his late brothers, Joe [Joseph Zeiler, Sr.] and William, 
during the depression.  He retired in 1962.

He was an honorary member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, 
and was a member of the Eagles for 53 years.

Surviving are his wife, Opal; daughters, Mrs. Marge Holmes; Mrs. Carol 
Matthews; and Mrs. Sharon Beres; sons, Edmund, Paul, Robert, Richard, and 
John; sisters:  Mrs. Matilda Southern, Mrs. Lucy Beroske, and Mrs. Margaret 
Daniels, and brother, George.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday in Regina Coeli Church.  Scripture 
services will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Ansberg-West Mortuary."

Additional Comments:
Edmund C. Zeiler was interred on July 14, 1978, # 49989, Burial Permit # 
2855.  He was years of age.  Cause of death was pneumonia.  The undertaker was 
Ansberg-West.  He was interred in E-102, Tier 0, Crypt B.
