Wright of Madison County, Ohio member of Co. "K" of the 26th OVI who enlisted 22 July, 1862 at Camp Chase, Ohio for a period of 3 years and was killed at Chickamauga Creek, Georgia September 19,1863. The pension application was filed by his mother Catherine Wright who was residing at the time at Lafayette in Madison County, Ohio. A pension of $8.00 per month was granted being pension # 139773. The pension was stopped 4 June 1879 due to "failure to claim pension".
