Mrs. Lora [sic Laura] A. Beardsley
NEWTON FALLS – Mrs. Lora A. Beardsley, 83, Arlington Rd., died at the 
residence at 8 p.m. Wednesday of complications following a lengthy illness. 
She was born in Newton Township on Oct. 7, 1857, the daughter of Andrew and 
Mary Graber. She had spent all her life in this village and the near vicinity. 
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Pricetown. Her husband died 
several years ago. She is survived by one son, Chauncey A. of Warren, one 
daughter, Mrs. Mary Beuchler of this village, 10 grandchildren and 20 great 
grandchildren. The body is at the James Funeral home where services will be 
held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. W.C. Knipe officiating. Burial will be made 
in Duck Creek cemetery. The family will meet friends at the funeral home 
Friday evening from 7 to 9.
