Sadie nee HAKE B. 2 Mar 1877 D. 20 June 1949 72y 3m 18d FLOYD H. BLACKBURN Floyd H. Blackburn, 72, of Warren died at Trumbull Memorial hospital Monday evening [20 June 1949]. He suffered a heart attack six weeks ago. Born in Poland, Ohio, March 2, 1877, he was a son of John and Lucy Henry Blackburn, and had resided in Warren 31 years, going there from North Jackson. He was a motor assembler at the Peerless Electric plant for 18 years and a member of the Federated Church of North Jackson. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Sadie Hake; two daughters, Miss Leeta Blackburn and Mrs. D.A. Pape, both of Warren; a sister, Mrs. Harry H. Smith of Boardman township, and a brother, Scott R. Blackburn of Canfield township. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon [23 June 1949] at the Hall Funeral Home and burial made in Crown Hill cemetery. BURIAL - 23 June 1949 in Crown Hill Cemetery, Warren, Trumbull Co. OH Additional Comments: Mary A. Neff, daughter of Martin Neff and great granddaughter of Conrad Naff, was Floyd H. Blackburn’s first wife. She married Floyd Blackburn on 12 Feb 1896. Floyd and Mary A. Neff were married just three years when she died on 27 Apr 1899, at the age of 34.
