Neff ffen@zoominternet.net May 12, 2006, 2:53 pm Mahoning Dispatch, Fri, 9 Jan 1903 FITCH, Frank [Husband of Martha nee MCNEILLY] 20 Sep 1842 to 4 Jan 1903 60y 3m 14d Ellsworth - Jan. 7 – Frank Fitch died Sunday afternoon. Death was the result of a fall about three weeks ago by which he received internal injuries. For several days previous to his death his condition seemed to improve and it was thought he would recover, when he was taken suddenly worse and lived only a few minutes. The deceased was the eldest son of the late Richard Fitch and one of the most highly esteemed men of this community and county. His death is sincerely mourned by all who knew him. He was 60 years of age, having been born in Ellsworth Sept. 20, 1842. He was married to Martha McNeilly May 2, 1867, who with two sons and a daughter survives him. In the civil war he served in the 155th Ohio national guard. Funeral services were held from the family residence Monday at 11 o’clock and very largely attended. Interment in the village cemetery.
