John Foos, a highly respected citizen of Austintown township, died Saturday 
evening aged 58 years.  Mr. Foos suffered from nervous prostration which 
developed into quick consumption.  A widow and two daughters survive him.  
Funeral services conducted by Revs. Finnecy of Briar Hill and Shimp of 
Delightful, were held Tuesday morning in the Evangelical church at Smith’s 
Corners.
