Gilchrist] 23 Apr 1857 to 3 Apr 1935 77y 11m 10d Mrs. Thomas C. Gilchrist, aged 78, one of the most active leaders of women’s organizations in Westminster Presbyterian Church, died suddenly of heart trouble at her home at 545 First Ave. at 3:20 this morning. Mrs. Gilchrist, who had lived in Youngstown since her early childhood, had always been a member of the Bible school of the church, the Woman’s Missionary Society and extremely interested in her church work. Four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Gilchrist celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. Gilchrist, who was associated with the United Engineering & Foundry Co., died three years ago. Mrs. Gilchrist was born in Brownsville, Pa., April 23, 1857. Mrs. Gilchrist leaves one son, Ralph W. Gilchrist, who is also connected with the United Engineering & Foundry Co. here; a daughter, Helen K. Gilchrist and a granddaughter, Marion E. Gilchrist, both of Youngstown; a brother, John Noll Sr., of Youngstown, and a sister Mrs. W.L. Murdoch, of Cleveland. The funeral services will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the residence. Rev.
