Lucy nee BRUNSTETTER] 1818 to 18 Dec 1913 95y WAS NINETY-FIVE JOSEPH McCAUGHTRY, WELL KNOWN LORDSTOWN CITIZEN DIED THURSDAY, NIGHT Joseph McCaughtry one of the oldest citizens of Trumbull county, passed away about five o’clock Thursday evening in his home in Lordstown. Death was due to old age. The deceased was born in Allentown, Pa., 95 years ago. When he was a young man he crossed the Allegheny Mountains with his mother and came to Ohio. He settled in Lordstown sixty years ago and since that time he has lived there continuously. Besides a widow he is survived by three sons, Raymond and Caldwell of this city, and Charles of Niles, two daughters, Mrs. John Peck of this city and Miss Miranda of Lordstown. The funeral will be held at the late home Saturday afternoon at one o’clock. Burial will take place in Lordstown cemetery.
