Mrs. Howard Neff
Mrs. Carole Neff, 71, of Massillon State Hospital died of pneumonia at 9:30 
p.m. Thursday at the hospital. Mrs. Neff was born Aug., 25, 1899, in Calla, a 
daughter of Burton and Estella Rohrbaugh Beard, and resided in New Buffalo 
before she went to the hospital. She had resided at the hospital for the past 
25 years and was a member of Paradise Lutheran Church of New Buffalo. Her 
husband, Howard, to whom she was married in 1921, preceded her in death. She 
leaves two brothers, Arthur Beard of Youngstown and Ray Beard of Columbiana. 
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Warrick Funeral Home, 
Columbiana, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be 
at the church cemetery.
