Neff, a cousin EDWARD ROY NEFF, 57 CANFIELD – Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church, Lecanto, Fla., for Edward Roy Neff, 57, of Lecanto, formerly of Youngstown and Canfield, who died Sunday at home of a heart ailment. Mr. Neff was born March 4, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of Edward Leroy and Martha Cummings Neff, and had lived in Citrus County for 10 years. He owned and operated Palm Terrace Village, a senior living community, and had worked 17 years for First Federal Savings and Loan Co. in Miami, where he became president of Amerifirst Mortgage Corp. He also was founder and president of Quic-Docs, the first mortgage document preparation company in Florida. He graduated from Canfield High School in 1961 and attended Bowling Green State University. He served in the Army, and was a member of the Young- Lakemen Life Group and the Dr. Jay Newcomer Discipleship Group of the church. He leaves his parents of Phoenix, Ariz.; his wife, the former Cheryl Fumi Sakai, whom he married April 30, 1983; a son, Michael Raymond Neff of Tallahassee, Fla.; a daughter, Sharon Elizabeth Neff of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Nancy Jo Neff of Phoenix; and a brother, William Bruce Neff of Canfield. A brother, Gary Reed Neff, is deceased. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Hooper Funeral Home in Inverness, Fla. Contributions may be made to the church’s building fund, 4221 Gulf to Lake Highway, Lecanto, Fla. 34461.
