Scot C. Neier, 83, of Warren, died Friday morning in Trumbull Memorial 
hospital following a short illness. Born in Austintown township on March 12, 
1885, he was a son of Henry A. and Julia A. Neier.  For many years he taught 
school in the Austintown area, and prior to his retirement several years ago 
had been employed by the Beaver Pipe Tool Co. in Warren. Survivors, include a 
brother, Cloe R. Neier of Warren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral 
services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, and 
burial made in Oakwood cemetery.
