Mahoning Dispatch 05 May 1899
Mrs. Mary A. Blackburn, wife of Floyd Blackburn, died at her home 1½ miles 
east of the village last Thursday night of consumption. The deceased was the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Neff.
Her age was 34 years. She was an estimable Christian woman, greatly loved by 
all who knew her. Besides her husband and parents she leaves one brother, John 
Neff, and two sisters, Mrs. G.S. Beard and Mrs. Chas. Edsall. Funeral services 
at the house Saturday afternoon were conducted by Rev. J. E. Cope. Interment 
in the village cemetery.
