Mahoning Dispatch 21 Oct 1881
Mrs. T.G. Stratford, wife of the well-known sewing machine agent of 
Youngstown, died of typhoid fever in the city last Tuesday morning, aged 38 
years. She leaves a husband and three children. Deceased was a sister of Mrs. 
Martin Neff, of this township. Funeral services were held Wednesday and the 
remains were brought to Canfield and buried in the family burying ground in 
the afternoon. A large number of citizens, friends, and acquaintances met the 
funeral cortege at the cemetery, where the last sad rites were performed.
