Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at 
Canfield Cemetery for Marjorie Neff Whittle, 93, formerly of the Lebanon 
Valley Brethren Home in Palmyra, Pa., who died Oct 12 at the Highlands of 
Wyomissing, Pa. The Rev. George Lee, pastor of Canfield United Church will 
officiate.
She was born Nov. 15, 1905 in Canfield, the daughter of Cyrus H. and Melvia 
Waters Neff. She was a 1928 graduate of Ohio University and was a charter 
member of Phi Mu sorority.
She was a social worker for 27 years for the state of Ohio and later served as 
residence director for the YWCA in Philadelphia, Pa.
She retired as a social worker from the Lutheran Children and Family Services 
of Reading, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Whittle.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane L. Hahn of Reading; a son, William C. 
Whittle of LaVerne, Calif.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by the Buse Funeral Home of Palmyra, Pa.

Broad St., Canfield 44406.
