DEATH OF C. J. SANZENBACHER
Charles J. Sanzenbacher, who died Oct. 17 at the home of his son Irvin on 
Racoon road, was born in Canfield Aug 25, 1860, eldest son of the late Mr. and 
Mrs. John Sanzenbacher, and spent his entire life in this vicinity. He had 
been ailing for 21 years. Surviving him are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. 
Roy Smith of Austintown, Mrs. Rebecca Smith of Youngstown, Mrs. Harriet 
Donley, Chicago, and one son, Irvin. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Rebecca 
Callahan, the last of the immediate Sanzenbacher family. Funeral services were 
held Oct. 20 at the home of his son and the remains were laid to rest in the 
Sanzenbacher vault in Canfield village cemetery. (Thru oversight in making up 
forms of last week’s Dispatch the foregoing was omitted, much to the regret of 
the publishers).
