Chalmers Ave., died of infirmities at 2:45 p. m., Friday in South Side of Youngstown Hospital. A daughter of James and Jane Uppington [Langley], she was born Feb. 6, 1864 in Tredegar, Wales. She had been in Youngstown 42 years. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, the Justice Sunday School class and the W. C. T. U. and had been awarded a pin recently bt the Red Cross for outstanding work. Her husband, Samuel E. , died in 1936. Mrs. Williams leaves two daughters, Mrs. Fred J. Kaiser and Mrs. W. H. Davis; and a son, James J. of Youngstown; a sister, Mrs. Henry Eells of Bedford; three brother, Frank Langley of Struthers, Charles and Thomas of Sharon, Pa; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Shriver-Allison South Side Funeral Home where friends may call Sunday evening."
