The death rate in the city so far this month is reaching a very high figure. This morning another child of Patrick Finerty, of 769 Oak street, died from scarlet fever, this being the third child out of that family in less than two weeks. The deceased, whose name was Michael, was five years old. The funeral will be held from the house to-morrow morning, with interment at Calvary Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Finerty have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sad bereavement. Mr. Finerty is a mill man, but has been able to secure but little employment. Two more children have the fever, but their conditions are not considered dangerous.
