The date given is when it appeared in the newspaper. From the Youngstown Daily Vindicator, 22 JUL 1895, pg. 1 Three Divorces _________ Granted by Judge Johnston in Short Order To-day While the marriage license court is kept busy issuing permits for matrimony, the common pleas court is busy undoing the work of cupid. This morning in short order Judge Johnston heard the plaints of three dissatisfied wives and granted divorces to Emma Miller from Joseph W. Miller, Maggie Hupfer from Frederick Hupfer, and Nelia Shebyn from Joseph Shebyn. Non-support, cruelty and drunkenness on the part of the defendants were the grounds upon which divorces was granted in each case.
