Death resulted from a heart attack and infirmities of age. Mr. CUNNINGHAM was a partner with H. M. STOWE in Marion’s first plumbing business, coming here in 1889, from Lima, to form the firm of Cunningham & Stowe. Mr. CUNNINGHAM was a member of a Y.M.C.A. football team. Also, he gained considerable prominence in his early days as a boxer. He was also active in Y.M.C.A. baseball, tennis and volleyball. Up until the last year or two he was a familiar figure on the Y.M.C.A. tennis courts. He was active in Marion music circles, having been a member of the old Grand Opera house orchestra, later the Marion civic orchestra and at one time the Mansfield Symphony orchestra. Mr. CUNNINGHAM was a member of the First Presbyterian church, a charter member of the Knights of Pythias and honorary member of the Marion Elks Lodge, Lodge No. 70 F. &. A. M. and the Tallywag club. THEODORE MARSHALL CUNNINGHAM was born March 8, 1869 in Lima to JOHN NEWTON and LAURA MARSHALL CUNNINGHAM. He was married June 1, 1904 in Marion to MARIAM DeWOLFE, who died April 12, 1919. Surviving are two sons, Cpl. NEWTON D. CUNNINGHAM, who is stationed with the Army overseas, THEODORE W. CUNNINGHAM, of Lakewood, and one daughter, Mrs. MARIAM CHENEY at home. One daughter, ELIZABETH preceded her father in death. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian church with Rev. H. L. OLEWILER, pastor, and Rev. DONALD MITCHELL of Cincinnati officiating. Burial will be made in the Marion cemetery.
