Lowry, Of This City As the result of injuries sustained in the C.D. & M. wreck south of Stratford, Tuesday noon, Charles Lowry, aged sixty-years, died at the Jane M. Case hospital at 2 o'clock Friday morning, says Friday's Delaware Gazette. Mr. Lowry suffered a mashed limb, a broken nose and internal injuries. He was in the cabin of the work car, being foreman of the line. He had been a resident of Delaware for the past fourteen years and had been employed with the C.D. & M. for the past twelve years. Mr. Lowry leaves a widow and two children, who are Mr. Pearl Lowry, Delaware, and Mrs. Olive Ruder, Delaware. Also three brothers; Messrs. A.B. Lowry, Marion, Samuel Lowry, Powell, and William Lowry, Worthington, and five sisters, who are, Mrs. Stella Shannon, Columbus; Mrs. Phoebe Cushion, Columbus; Mrs. Roxie Larrd, Columbus; Mrs. Jennie Crigley, Toledo, and Mrs. Margaret Staley, near the Girl's Industrial home. Funeral announcement will be made later. The other men injured in the wreck are recovering although G.S. Laver is yet suffering considerably from his injuries. Responsibility for the wreck has not yet been made known.
