M. CUNNINGHAM, one of Marion’s best known young business men, and most popular in club and social circles and Miss MIRIAM DeWOLFE, the very charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. SIMON E. DeWOLFE, gave a notable inauguration to the June social season today. The ceremonial at the First Presbyterian church was very impressive and viewed by a large and striking Marion assemblage, while the after celebration at the DeWOLFE home was a brilliant and most delightful affair. The guests began to arrive shortly after 3 o’clock, the church auditorium being taxed to its utmost capacity at 3:30 o’clock, the hour set for the ceremony. The interim between the arrival of the guests and the hour for the wedding was made most agreeable by an organ musicale, Mrs. GRISELDA DAVIS DOMBAUGH rendering several delightful selections. The church was most tastefully decorated, green being the predominant color. Promptly at 3:30 o’clock, Mrs. DOMBAUGH played the introductory strains of the Lohengrin bridal chorus, the ushers; Miss BESS CANTWELL and Miss GERTRUDE STRONG, of Kenton; Miss LUCILE ANDERSON, of Mansfield, Misses JOSEPHINE JOHNSTON, ELIZABETH THOMPSON, GAIL HAMILTON, ETHEL AND LYDIA CUNNINGHAM, Miss GENEVIEVE HUMMER, RHODA LEE, MABEL RAFFENSPERGER and DELILAH BARKER, singing the chorus entered respectively from the north and west doors, marching down the side aisles, taking their station in the choir loft directly in front of the organ. The young ladies, charmingly attired in white gowns and wearing large picture hats, made a most attractive setting. Rev. L. C. WEBSTER and DR. FRANK GRANSTAFF, entering from the extreme west aisle, took their places in the pulpit. Misses EDNA and LUCILLE DeWOLFE, sisters of the bride, as bridesmaids, looking very pretty in gowns of white French organdie, sparsely touched with pink rosebud figures and trimmed with white satin ribbon, made their entrance from the north side. Mr. L. C. CUNNINGHAM, of Findlay, a cousin of the groom, and Mr. DeLOS DeWOLFE, a brother of the bride, as groomsmen, entering from the west side proceeded down the west aisle, where they joined the bridesmaids, who proceeded the flower-bearers, CLEMENTINE RITCHIE, of Wyoming, Ohio, HARRIET BUTCHER and ROBERT UHLER, who came down the north aisle. The groom and his best man, Mr. FRANK BAXTER, of Lima, mounted the rostrum, where they were joined by the maid of honor, Miss ELOISE SARGENT, most becomingly attired in a costume of white crepe-de-chine, trimmed with Point de Venice, carrying a large bouquet of white carnations, and the bride on the arm of her father, Mr. SIMON E. DeWOLFE. Miss DeWOLFE was very beautiful in a wedding gown of white messaline satin, with rose point lace trimmings. She carried a shower bouquet of bride’s roses and lilies of the valley. Rev. Mr. WEBSTER spoke the Methodist ring ceremony – indeed an impressive one – which ????? the troth of the couple, being assisted by Dr. FRANK GRANSTAFF. A happy coincidence was that in performing this ceremony on this date, Mr. WEBSTER, grandfather of the bride, commemorated the forty-eighth anniversary of his marriage. Leaving the altar and advancing up the west aisle, the party made its exit from the southeast door of the church. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. DeWOLFE gave a reception at their home on east Center street to the bridal party and two hundred invited guests. After viewing the many beautiful gifts and extending their congratulations, the guests were served with a buffet luncheon, Mesdames FRANK GRANSTAFF, S. E. BARLOW, MARTHA HODDER, A. W. SHAW, GERTRUDE KLING, W. C. BUTCHER, H. W. CULBERTSON, EDWARD SEFFNER, PAULINE HUMMER and MARY LIPPINCOTT assisting. At the house, pink and green predominated in the decorations. The bridal table in the dining room was very pretty, white, pink and green being the color theme. The bridal luncheon was served by Mrs. E. K. UHLER and Mrs. E. E. POWERS. Little Miss FANNIE CULBERTSON distributed the favors – white, pink and green ribbon bows. Mr. and Mrs. CUNNINGHAM will leave this evening for St. Louis for a three weeks visit at the exposition. On their return they will take up their residence on Lafayette street. The wife has announced several Wednesdays “at home.” Among the out-of-town guests were Rev. and Mrs. L. C. WEBSTER, Mrs. JACOB FORBING, Mrs. FANNIE GARRETSON, Misses GERTRUDE STRONG, BESS and MAYME CANTWELL, ELOISE SORGEN, EDNA WISE, MARGARET SPOUSLER and FLORENCE HOLLAND, of Kenton; Mrs. HOLLAND WEBSTER, of Toledo; Dr. and Mrs. FRANK FELIX, of Cleveland; Mrs. E. M. DARLING, of Paw Paw, Mich.; Mrs. EMMA ANDERSON and Misses CLEORA and LUCILLE ANDERSON, of Mansfield; Miss RUTH RISSLER, of Lancaster; Mrs. MARGARET COLEMAN and Mrs. JAMES DeWOLFE, of Columbus; Rev. and Mrs. ED WEBSTER, of Green Camp and Dr. and Mrs. CHARLES CHURCH, of Van Wert; Mrs. C.
