I have been searching Silicman, my gggrandfather.  He was married about 1850
possibly in Delaware.  Lived possibly in Marion, Ohio for a time and my
ggrandfather left home at age 15, about 1865-1868.  He was a resident of St.
Louis just prior to marrying my Ggrandmother Minnie Gooch in

!MARRIAGE INFORMATION:  12th Jan. 1888 Benjamin F. Silicman and Minnie M.
Gooch.  His place of residence was given as St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri
and occupation a carpenter.  He is 30 at the time.  Lists his parents as
Theodore Silicman and Elizabeth Regena Schicenklemeyer.  He lists Minnie's
mother as Synthian Showalter, so I think he had a little trouble with
spelling.  MARRIAGE SOLEMNIZED BY E.D. WILKIN AT THE M.E. CHURCH,
CARLINVILLE, ILLINOIS, 12th Jan. 1888. Gives place of birth as Delaware.

Any information would help.
