Medina Gazette
Willis Franklin Parsons, 82, of Brunswick passed away on October 23, 2008 of a 
short illness.

Mr. Parsons was born on April 21, 1926 in Jerusalem, Ohio and had been an area 
resident for several years.  

He was a veteran of the U S Army and had been a self-employed watch repairman 
prior to working for Cleveland RTA from where he retired after 25 years.  He 
then began work for the Cleveland Plain Dealer for several more years as an ad 
courier.

A strong Christian he lived as he believed and practiced what he preached.  he 
was a longtime member of the Youngs Corners Fellowship Baptist Church in 
Wadsworth.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty (nee Ohler) Parsons; daughters 
Mrs. Carl (Cynthia) Ramsey of Grafton, Ohio and Mrs. Bryan (Pamela) Abend of 
Brunswick; by sons Willis F. (Ruby) Parsons of Medina, Timothy Parsons of Vero 
Beach, Florida and Christopher (Diane) Parsons of Brunswick and by 14 
grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00  -  4:00 and 6:00  -  8:00 at waite and 
Son Funeral Home in Brunswick.  Services will be Monday at 1:00pm at Youngs 
Corners Fellowship Baptist Church in Wadsworth with burial following at West 
Lawn Cemetery in Canton.
