Obit in the 
DEATH CLAIMS MISS ZADA SHAW ON TUESDAY
Miss Zada P. (Dot) Shaw, 92, of Medina died Tuesday morning at the Castle 
Nursing home in Millersburg, where she had been a resident for the past three 
and one-half years.
Services in charge of Rev. Harry Chang will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the 
Waite funeral home.  Burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery.
Miss Shaw was born in Montville township and had spent her entire life in this 
community.  She was a member of the LeRoy Universalist church of which Rev. 
Mr. Chang is a former pastor.
Surviving are two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Elsie Shaw of Cleveland and Mrs. 
Matilda Shaw of Chicago, Ill,; also 16 nephews and nieces in this vicinity.

Additional Comments:
Aunt Dot never married. She was a skilled seamstress who in her early life 
moved about the community, living with families long enough to make and fit 
new garments for the household members.
