E. P. Shaw Dies In Lafayette, Thursday
	Early P. Shaw, 81, member of a pioneer family of York and Lafayette 
townships, died early Thursday morning at his home a mile south of Lafayette 
following an illness of several months.
	Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in 
the Parker funeral home in Lodi. Burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery in 
Medina.
	Mr. Shaw, who was a retired farmer and had lived since he was four 
years old on the farm where he died, was born in Montville township, being one 
of nine children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moody Shaw. He is survived by his 
wife, Kitty, with whom he  celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last 
Jan.21: three children, Floyd of Wooster, Lula Hickling of Lafayette and 
George at home, and one sister, Miss Zada Shaw of Medina.
