Beginning at the Stake on the bank of the Ohio River at the corner of a small lot owned by Lawrence Jenks. Thence west seventeen and a half perches to a stake at the Northwest corner of said Jenks lot, thence south Eight perches to the line of hundred acre lot No. 146, thence west with the line of said hundred acre lot to John Andersons southeast corner, thence North with said Andersons line to a stake at the corner of a lot conveyed by Hannah Grover to said Richardsons hence east one hundred and ten perches and six tenths to a stake thence south three perches to a stake thence East nine perches to a stake thence east ninety-two perches to a stake on the bank of said River thence down the River to the place of beginning containing sixty four acres be the same more or less being the south part of the Fraction section No. eighteen Town three Range Eleven in the Ohio Companies purchase. To have and to hold said premises with the appurtenances unto the said Nicholas Richardson his heirs and assigns forever. And the said James Amsden for himself and heirs doth hereby covenant with the said Nicholas Richardson his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises of aforesaid, that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrance whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and defend the same with the appurtenances unto the said Nicholas Richardson his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof the said James Amsden and Elizabeth Amsden have hereunto set their hands and seals this 20th day of June AD 1846 signed James Amsden Elizabeth Amsden Executed in presence of G. W. McClenathan Henry S. Lawrence The State of Ohio Meigs County–Before me Henry S. Lawrence a Justice of the peace in and for said County personally appeared the above named James Amsden and Elizabeth his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within and above conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and the said Elizabeth being at the same time examined by me separate and apart from her husband and the contents of said instrument made known to her by me she then declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith this 20th day of June AD 1846. the State of Ohio Meigs County Henry S.
