Amsden Administratrix of James Amsden dec’d; Henry H. Rice, Administrator Joseph D. Plummer, dec’d; Frederick Lyman, Administrator of John Nelson, dec’d.; Wm. C. Williamson, Administrator of James Williamson, dec’d ATTACHMENT NOTICE [Abstracted] An attachment was issued June 18, 1855 by Major Reed, a justice of the peace in Olive Twp., Meigs Co. against the goods, chattels, stock, credits, moneys, effects & c of Commodore P. Snow. Amount of claim is $8.83. NOTICE -- Is hereby given that the subscriber has been appointed and qualified as Executor of the estate of Mark Hanings, late of Meigs county, deceased. June 19, 1855 John C. Golden NOTICE is hereby given that a petition will be presented to the Commissioners of Meigs county, Ohio, at their next term, for a road, commencing at the State road, at the mouth of John Westfall’s lane, in Columbia, thence south to James Hampton’s land, thence south through Joshua Marton’s land to the township line; thence east to the corner of section 24 in Salem township, thence south-east through Hugh Ogden’s land, thence through Noah Ogden’s land to the State road. ATTACHMENT NOTICE [abstracted] Issued June 15, 1855 by A. M. Barlow, Justice of Pease in Salsibury Township Meigs County, Ohio against the goods, chattels, and effects of Patrick McVey a non-resident debtor. Amount claimed by plaintiffs is $17,89. [typed it as it appeared in the newspaper] NOTICE is hereby given that the subscriber, on the 30th of May, 1855, lost the following notes; one note given by James Stewart & Brothers, in favor of Henry Rep?ar, for the sum of Three Hundred Dollars, with two endorsements – one for Forty Dollars, and the other for Fifty Dollars – the note is made due and payable July 1, 1855. Also, one due-bill, given by James Whaley, in favor of Samuel Vale, for Five Dollars, given some time in May. The parties interested will please take notice that the note and due bill were accidentally lost, and that any attempt by any other person to collect them will be considered fraudulent, and the persons so attempting prosecuted according to Law.
